The Toronto Pan Afrikan Film Festival (TPAFF) celebrates its 3rd season with more FREE community programming!
In 2025 the Toronto Pan Afrikan Film Festival is all about the “RIDDIM”. Our curated selection of films will highlight the stories of Black musicians but also feature dynamic music that plays a key role in the storytelling. From documentaries on legendary artists to films where the rhythm of the soundtrack drives the narrative, "RIDDIM" will celebrate the vital connection between music and Black culture. We invite you to experience the powerful fusion of film and music that honors the creativity and impact of Black musicians worldwide!" ~ Lori Beazer, Executive Festival Director
Thank you to our 2024 film festival sponsors the City of Toronto, Live Arts Mentor, Toronto Arts Council, and LUSH Handmade Cosmetics. We also give a HUGE shoutout to our community partner Regent Park Film Festival for being our coach and lifeline. Our venue was the NIA Centre for the Arts, Canada’s first Black performing arts centre. The Nia Centre is a space built with purpose and dedicated to Black artists and young creatives, and we are pleased to share this space with our community! We tell the stories...NO TALES!
